What Is Ritu In Korean?

Many people want to know what Ritu means in Korean. Since my name is also Ritu, I’ll discuss the meaning of Ritu so anyone who doesn’t understand Korean can also understand it.

Now Let’s start.

Ritu is a Hindi word which means season.

계절“/gye-jeol/ is the Korean word for season.

The name Ritu can be written in two ways:

1. 리투 /rithu/: One of my Korean teachers used to call me this. Maybe because it was easier for them to pronounce than the one I mentioned below.
2. 리뚜 /ritu/: After mastering my Korean language skills, I replaced the consonant ㅌ[th]  with ㄸ[t]  since it has the correct pronunciation of Ritu.

So, this is how the name Ritu is written in  Korean. And it means “계절” /gye-jeol/ [Season] in Korean.

Hopefully, this post was helpful for people with the name Ritu.
